On August 17, 2007, American Heritage hosted the 2007 Canarble Cup Golf Outing at Cog Hill with WLS which benefited the Chicago Police Memorial Foundation. The Chicago Police Memorial Foundation is a not-for-profit organization dedicated to honoring the lives and memories of our fallen heroes. The Foundation provides support and assistance to the families of Chicago Police officers who have sacrificed their lives in the line of duty.

WLS 890AM radio personality Roe Conn was the honorary chair. Also in attendance was former Chicago Police Superintendent Phil Cline and ABC meteorologist Tracy Butler. Many supporters came out and enjoyed the beautiful weather (for which Tracy claimed credit) and the amazing golf courses at Cog Hill.

We would also like to thank those who were unable to attend but sent in their generous donations. A special thanks goes out to the golf outing committee for pulling off such a wonderful event.
