On August 17, 2007, American Heritage hosted the 2007 Canarble Cup Golf Outing at Cog Hill with WLS which benefited the Chicago Police Memorial Foundation. The Chicago Police Memorial Foundation is a not-for-profit organization dedicated to honoring the lives and memories of our fallen heroes. The Foundation provides support and assistance to the families of Chicago Police officers who have sacrificed their lives in the line of duty.
WLS 890AM radio personality Roe Conn was the honorary chair. Also in attendance was former Chicago Police Superintendent Phil Cline and ABC meteorologist Tracy Butler. Many supporters came out and enjoyed the beautiful weather (for which Tracy claimed credit) and the amazing golf courses at Cog Hill.

AHPS would like to thank everyone that participated and volunteered their time to make the 2007 Canarble Cup Golf Outing a huge success. We would also like to thank those who were unable to attend but sent in their generous donations. A special thanks goes out to the golf outing committee for pulling off such a wonderful event. We hope to see everyone again next year!

Roe Conn and his WLS 890 AM on-air team presented the 2007 Canarble Cup to benefit The Chicago Police Memorial Foundation, a not-for-profit organization, established in 2004 dedicated to honoring the lives and memories of our fallen heroes.
The Cog Hill Golf & Country Club, home of The Western Open was chosen for the event. Cog Hill is located in the nearby southwest suburbs, less than 30 minutes from Downtown Chicago.
