Identity Theft Prevention Seminar

 

On March 16th, 2006, American Heritage hosted an informative seminar at the Double Tree Hotel, in Alsip, highlighting Identity Theft, one of the nation's fastest growing crimes.

During the seminar, attendees learned valuable tips on how to protect from becoming a victim of Identity Theft, as well as steps to take if you find yourself victimized.

Panel members included Stephen J. Pollak, Executive Vice President of American Heritage Protective Services; William Condon, President/CEO of The Condon Group as well as Thomas Hall, Vice President of Pullman Bank and Jim Seidl, Business Services Officer of Pullman Bank.

Mr. Pollak provided background information on Identity Theft and suggestions for preventing victimization, while Mr. Condon offered insight into the financial devastation that can result from identity theft. Thomas Hall and Jim Seidl offered perspectives on banking industry approaches to the crime of identity theft.
