Over 300 business people from across
Chicago's Southland attended the 2005
Annual Awards Luncheon presented by
the Chicago Southland Chamber of Commerce
Wednesday, April 6th.
Art Hannus, President and CEO of
American Heritage Protective Services,
Inc. received the Business Achievement
Award.
Recipients, including business owners,
educators, public officials and entrepreneurs,
were honored in 10 award categories.
Those recipients are also actively
involved in chamber events, serving
as either chairpersons for functions
or on the board of directors.
Mr. Hannus is a lifelong resident
of the Chicago area. At one time he
was the youngest burglary detective
in the City of Chicago, at age 23.
Upon receiving his award, Mr. Hannus
said he felt honored to be chosen.
"This award belongs
to the people in my company,"
- said Art, referring to many
of his employees have been with him
for more than 20 years.
