Arthur J. Hannus, President and
CEO of American Heritage Protective
Services, Inc., has pledged to raise
$100,000 over the next three years
in support of the Chicago Police Memorial
to be built adjacent to Chicago’s
Soldier Field. To kick off the American
Heritage fund raising campaign, Mr.
Hannus presented Scott Arney, President
of the Chicago Police Foundation with
a check for $10,000. Mr. Hannus has
pledged an additional contribution
of $20,000 from American Heritage,
bringing the American Heritage contribution
to $30.000.
A former Chicago police detective
himself, Mr. Hannus knows first hand
the contributions and sacrifices made
by all police officers, especially
those who have given their lives in
the line of duty. In presenting the
check, Mr. Hannus thanked Scott Arney,
President of the Chicago Police Memorial
Foundation, and Captain Gene Roy for
inviting him to participate in honoring
our fallen heroes and friends.
