President and CEO, Arthur J.
Hannus
With over 25 years of service in the private sector,
Art Hannus is well known throughout northern Illinois
and Indiana as a very successful manager and businessman
in the contract security industry.
Prior to entering the contract security industry
Art had the privilege of serving thirteen years
with the Chicago Police Department. During his
tenure as a Chicago Police Officer he received
many awards and at the age of twenty-three, was
the youngest burglary detective in the City of
Chicago.
In addition to his responsibilities as president
and chief executive officer of American Heritage
Protective Services, Art is a member of the Board
of Directors of the Chicago Police Memorial Foundation,
and the Advocate Health Care Systems Charitable
Board. He is an active member of the Chicago Southland
Chamber of Commerce, Illinois State Crime Commission,
Illinois Association of Chiefs of Police, South
Suburban Chiefs Association, as well as a Director
of St. Michael’s House; and a past gubernatorial
appointee to the Illinois Insurance Fraud Task
Force.
